my sister-in-law is so narcissistic. thank god that she did not ever have children. it is bad enough that my brother is screwed up from her. i hate to think that she could have done to kids.

Characteristics of Narcissistic Mothers
by rebel8 inhttp://www.geocities.com/zpg1957/narcissists.htm i've had some narcissistic types in my life and boy, does this article ring true.
(this is not true of my mother but just like a mirror image of my sister.
also reminds me of the dynamics of the wt org.

When is it 'going too far'?
by nekone041 ini'm new to the forum (in fact, i just joined about 10 minutes before starting this post), and am a new jw (i began learning and attending meetings since about november of '06).
i have a question involving my girlfriend and i, and i'm hoping to find a moral answer.
my girlfriend and i fell in love two summers ago, and we're still pretty young (we're turning 17 this year).

hi, years ago i asked an elder that question. he said anything that insights desire. it does not sound like your baptized yet. whatever you do or don't do don't tell anyone in the hall not even friends. the last thing you need is everyone knowing and that is what would happen. pray about it if you feel guilty. it is really cool that you are waiting to have intercourse til marriage. i wasn't pure in other ways but waited to have intercourse until marriage.

Anyone still have an old "call book"?
by Ariel84 ini was just curious if anyone still has their old call book(s); i have no clue what happened to mine.
someone was talking about bloodguilt on here recently, which made me think of return visits and how i used to feel panicked about being bloodguilty if i did not get back to them.

What was your final straw that broke your back in terms of doctrine?
by ukescott inas ex-mormon, my exposure to a different version of the first vision story which was quite different from the offical first vision was my beginning way out of mormonism.
what about you ex-jw's?
what, in terms of wt doctrine, made you realize that the wt is a fraud?.

i saw the video 'witness of jehovah' and it showed all the false dates that they predicted in the early 1900's. as i was silently dealing with this, my study teacher and friend was disassociated for becoming a bapist. well everyone freaked out because i didn't and wouldn't stop being her friend. so i was out of there so fast.
